I saw an advertisement for Barang Barang's warehouse sale on the papers yesterday and ended up spending today running around the industrial estates of Singapore browsing around for furniture buys. One shop leads to another as each area has at least 2-3 big stores, but eventually we ended up with no buys. On the one hand it is nice to catch a deal that will make you proud even years down the road, but on the other hand it feels as if I've wasted a full Sunday afternoon.
We both ended up quite tired and drained after the expedition, and ended up at Geylang's He Ji Bao for some food before going home. It's back to work nonetheless, as with any other Sunday evenings.
We're gonna make Sundays a no-outing day soon I think.
